HVAC Training
Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning technicians repair, install, and maintain heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Technicians are not limited to the typical A/C units in residential homes; they also have opportunities in refrigerant systems such as refrigerators, refrigerant trucks, and other equipment that provide climate control for products such as perishable foods or medicine.
Employment in this industry has opportunities in advancement and diversity. The mechanic can advance as a supervisor or manager or branch of into areas such as cost estimator, test and balance specialist, building superintendent and other related fields. Advancement usually comes with further training and experience.
