Campus History
Centura first began training individuals for new careers in Norfolk, Virginia, in 1977, and over the years, it continued to expand its training options and campus locations. In 2001, our parent company, Employment Services, Inc., planned to open its tenth business/technical school this one in Orlando, Florida. The school opened its doors as Polytechnic Institute of America in 2002. In 2008, the school's name was changed to Centura Institute.
